e=mcThe Centre for Business Excellence

When Albert Einstein, the 20th-century physicist, first introduced his famous equation e=mc2, it represented his theory that energy equals mass multiplied by the speed of light, squared. The squaring of the speed of light indicates exponential growth, offering this insight: A small amount of matter can release a tremendous amount of energy. A powerful concept!

Diversity and Inclusion Statement

We adopted the equation, e=mc2, to represent our business intentions because we know energy – and successful results – are always the outcome of combining the right components. It’s how we approach business and life. We find the magic by building momentum generated by a mix of great ingredients. The right blend can open new possibilities and a new way of seeing.

This philosophy includes our views on diversity and inclusion. Energy builds and results happen when we open our hearts and minds to the endless possibilities of human beings’ beautiful differences. At e=mc2, we embrace all cultures, welcome everyone, and recognize we work better together by supporting all beliefs, cultures, genders, orientations, origins, and physical abilities.

Land Acknowledgement

e=mcThe Centre for Business Excellence acknowledges the land on which we gather to live, work, and explore is the traditional Treaty 7 territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, plus the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge this territory is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, within the historical Northwest Métis homeland.

We celebrate the opportunity to care for and be present on this land – honouring the truth of its origins.
