We’re looking for someone to be the heart and soul of our Centre as our Community Manager. You enjoy connecting with others, organizing engaging events, and ensuring our space operates smoothly. As the friendly face of our office, you’ll play a crucial role in making our members and guests feel at home and supported. You have the experience and aptitude to manage a smooth-running operation and are an accomplished multitasker passionate about hospitality and creating a vibrant in-house working community. You have a knack for pre-empting issues before they become problems, and you’ll reflect the standards of our Centre by being the on-site team member focused on service excellence.
You are also:
- Mature, trustworthy, reliable, and punctual – our members will be depending on you.
- A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Happy taking ownership of problems and finding ways to solve them.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and able to adapt to fast-changing situations.
- Content in supporting our clients and respecting individuals for who they are.
- Able to recognize potential partnership opportunities and comfortable initiating discussions.
- Confident in using MS Office and other essential IT packages and troubleshooting issues.
- Experienced in social media business platforms, with a solid understanding of basic marketing concepts.
- Bondable, as you’ll handle mail and other sensitive information.
- The go-to person for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Comfortable attending occasional external events to represent our business professionally and engagingly.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to sign a non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement.
- Experienced in managing in a diverse environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily Operations: Open the Centre, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and inviting.
- Guest Interaction: Greet and assist guests using daily passes or meeting room bookings, ensuring they have everything they need for a great experience.
- Community Building: Foster a warm and inclusive environment by organizing member introductions and supporting community engagement activities in the Centre.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute engaging events for our members, handle logistics, and ensure all details are covered, including meeting room and materials preparation and clean-up.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage supplies, mail, and deliveries, and maintain our booking system.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with our team to manage social media, newsletters, and website updates. Assist with advertising efforts to attract new members.
- Representation: Act as an ambassador of our Centre at community functions, showcasing the benefits of our Coworking community and building valuable connections for the company.
When you’ll be working:
- Proposed schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
- Availability for internal community functions and occasional external local business events.
