e=mc2 Awarded Bronze in the 2024 Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter
Committed to Inclusion in the Bow Valley
At e=mc² The Centre for Business Excellence, we are proud to announce that we’ve been awarded Bronze status in the 2024 Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter (WIC). This milestone highlights our ongoing efforts to build an inclusive, welcoming Workplace in Canmore where entrepreneurs, freelancers, and community leaders can thrive.
What is the Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter?
The Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter is a regional initiative that helps organizations commit to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices that support newcomers and underrepresented groups. It’s led by the Bow Valley Immigration Partnership (BVIP) and designed to foster a more inclusive workforce across the region.
Our Inclusion Commitments
To earn Bronze status, we completed five key commitments that align with our organizational values to promote workplace equity, support for newcomers, cultural awareness, and inclusive recruitment practices. The WIC focuses on:
- Increasing employer intercultural competency
- Inclusive hiring, onboarding, and retention practices
- More equitable workplace policies and practices
- Leadership commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Connecting employers with local community support and services
